Seed Pod

These are seed pods on a Sunshine Wattle Acacia terminalis. I grew this plant from seed so it is nice to see that it is now producing seeds. If you think they look like a pea pods then you are correct; Acacias and peas are related and they both add nitrogen to the soil. I don't think they would taste like peas.

I was pleased I took this before the wind came up as it has been a howling gale since mid morning.
