we took our canoe onto the lake today and enjoyed one of the only days we've had all summer that could even be categorized into this season. it was one of those days you look back on when you're old and remark to your children about how great things were when you were young and freedom was at your fingertips.

this is nick paddling us back to shore before we embarked on our journey to the other side. we all got so much sun that instead of worrying about burns we were just happy for the chance to be overexposed.
