Preparing for the next crop

I decided to take the scenic route back from collecting my bird seed this morning - although it is almost 40 years since I lived on the family farm I never cease to be fascinated by the cycle of crop rotation.No sooner is the grain field combined than the preparations start for the next crop.
I was actually looking for a field being ploughed with the flocks of following gulls but I liked the view as this tractor came up the hill beside the lovely old Collessie church with the Lomond Hills looming in the background.
The ploughing and gulls will need to wait for another blip!
