Granville dock

We are tied up in the Granville dock , now part of Dover marina. It is very sheltered and has excellent facilities. The quality of showers assumes great importance when living aboard and we were certainly grateful although we did have to walk 1/2 km on a round trip to the shower.
It is much quieter now that the summer holidays are over , but we have seen people aboard the two cross channel swimming support vessels . I love swimming but that is going a bit far ! This fishing boat came in this evening and the crew tidied up & went home very quickly.
