Morning Light

The morning light over Huddersfield this morning.

(I've had to remove some awful chromatic aberration from this - I love this wide angle lens but I fear it might be getting past it now. )

We haven't been to TP Woods for a week, and in that time Autumn has started - the trees still have their leaves but the vivid green has gone, there is a distinct yellow tinge to everything, especially the oaks, and although it is still very mild, there was a definite hint of a chill in the air. It'll not be long before I'm getting my thermals out!

Some work has been accomplished, but it is such a glorious afternoon I think I'll sort the kids out with their tea (ie get a take-away pizza!!) and then take the windfall apples up to my old pal the white horse. I will steel myself to not take the camera!

Three months from today and Christmas will all be over and done with.....
