This is my third attempt at a regular blog. Time is always against me but now I have my new iPad, I thought I'd give it another shot (inspired by my new friend, Mr Fenner Pearson).

So, I thought I'd start with one of my favourite things, food!

After gaining a couple of stone in a short space of time a few years ago, I decided to embark on losing weight. Realising I was now choosing size 22s was the wake up call I needed. When you're 6ft and of Amazonian build its easy to pile on the pounds without noticing. I lost 3 stone pretty easily and have never regained the 1st stone. The middle stone was my yo yo territory but this year I managed to start chipping at the last stone once again.

Having lost 7 pounds in the last two weeks, I thought I'd share my lunch. Red beans and rice, salad with chillies and olives, beet root. All packed up for me by MrB.

Here's to shifting the rest of the flab!
