Science Experiment
There's a great TV programme on called Backyard Science Experiment. My children decided they wanted to do an experiment from the show to see which is stronger spaghetti or linguine. The idea was that you built the above structure using linguine as the one that spans the two structures and then spaghetti and then add weight to the envelope. Spaghetti being the stronger one that takes more weight as it flexes. Sadly we didn't have linguine so we did our own experiment - how many Playmobil people could you put in the envelope. The answer was three children (Big Daughter, Pink Twin & Blue Twin). We left it for a minute & then this was the result! It works out the same happens if you put nine 5p pieces in there. So 3 x children = 45p in weight. Interesting.....
EDIT: I was cooking dinner when Big Daughter called me to show me she'd set up a Blip photo with the Playmobil family. Here it is. She did a great job & even used Blu-tac to attach them!!
