SUE WOOLMANS - AUTHOR

Our talented friend and colleague Sue Woolmans has written a book which is published in the UK today.
'The Assassination of the Archduke' tells the story of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria and his beloved wife Sophie. To quote some of the press material, 'It's the tragic story behind the shot that rang round the world' in Sarajevo in June 1914.

For some people at work, I suspect this announcement will come as something of a surprise. Sue is a skilled studio manager, we all know that, but as she doesn't tend to broadcast her other talents, including being a well respected royal historian, there may well be the hollow sound of jaw-bone on wood, which could be worth recording.
Huge congratulations Sue on a remarkable achievement.
