Novelty Is Wearing Off

I still enjoy driving my bus however that enjoyment is tempered by the sheer bloody mindedness of some other road users and the cussedness of some passengers.

The Highway Code clearly states that you should always give way to buses I doubt that will happen in my lifetime!

I have never knowingly been gratuitously rude to someone but some passengers, more often seniors using free bus passes feel that they have the right to speak to drivers or information staff as though they were some sort of 19th century, below stairs staff. A long military career had equipped me with the means to retort with some equally rude put downs!!
