Changing
Tonight Jack had his 'belt testing' for karate. As of right now, he is a yellow/white belt, and assuming he passed his test today, he will be given the orange/white belt tomorrow during his 'graduation' ceremony. I'm very proud of him, he is doing so well and I really hope he continues working hard at it!!
After class, Jack and I spent a few minutes outside exploring...looking for sticks, leaves, moss and anything else we could find to make his 'fairy house'. We made one a few years ago, and we saw many displayed at a fair about a month ago. We decided to build another one this year!!
The leaves are just starting to change a bit here...and I found these pretty velvet leaves on a bush that my mother gave to Jack when he was about 3. It's grown quite a bit in the last four years! The tag that came on the bush said that it grew flowers & little berries that the birds would love, which was the reason for getting it. Grandma knew Jack loved watching the different birds outside!
