Identify?

I noticed this bird perched on the TV antenna this morning and was unable to identify the species. It was constantly being attacked by first Magpies from the adjoining tree, and then a number of Myna birds (the grey variety not the brown) joined in making much noise.

Through all this the bird simply remained in its position and refused to move until finally the attackers moved on leaving it alone.
If anyone knows the species then a comment would be appreciated.
