Diepsloot township

A real contrasting day. This morning a market visit to a township of 600,000 people, well approximately that number. We visited small independent distributors and shops selling to hawkers and street vendors in the township. Quite an insight, that even with little money there is still aspiration for branded products and money is found for satellite tv.

In amongst the shacks and brick houses was Lazarus's garden, an oasis of flowers and piece for others to enjoy.

And then tonight, a visit to a lion park, petting lion cubs and watching the adults fed from an armoured lorry.

Two amazing experiences book ending the day, both incredible and thoughtful.
