Sponsored walk?

Worth viewing LARGE for the happy faces.

Mike's school do a 10-mile sponsored walk every autumn term - partly to raise funds for the school, and partly for new students to have a chance to mix and get to know others in the school.

Gail and I had offered to steward at the village of Dacre; parking wasn't helped by the fact there was a funeral being held in the village at the same time as the walk was passing with over 200 attending. Meant I had the pleasure of asking about 600 children to "keep the noise down" as they passed the church!

They were all really good, and I particularly liked these two "flying" down the hill towards the village.
