Bananas

We had a nice trip out to see Kate Rusby at the Palace Theatre in Newark last night despite the fact that a slightly stressful tour of the town centre via our out of date SatNav and a struggle to find anywhere to park meant we got there with minutes to spare and a sufreit of anxiety. Kate was soothing and personable as ever, though, and it was quite a nice change to hear her singing non-Christmas stuff for once (mind you, we've got our tickets booked for that too...!) It was also cool that she sang a few from her 'The Girl Who Couldn't Fly' album, which is a favourite of mine, including a lovely run though 'No Names.'
