Day Trip to Devon

I had a day trip down to Exeter on the train, then took another train to Exmouth for a walk along the beach in the drizzle (that wasn't in the forecast that I'd looked at, I was hood-less and umbrella-less, expecting 'light cloud'!).

I climbed up the cliff path to the very quiet coastal path. along to Sandy Bay, where I wandered along the beach by the red-coloured cliffs. After a few hours, I caught the train back to Exeter for a quick look around, then caught a slightly delayed train back to London, arrived home. sandy, frizzled (with more shells in my pockets) just before midnight...and far too exhausted to post this when I got in!
