In Charlotte Square

Attended a talk / discussion by Ola Wojtkiewitz at the Dean Gallery this morning on the parallels between some of the imagery in the Witches exhibition and the Surrealists on display downstairs. Definitely similarities in subject matter, particularly dreams and the unconscious, but I remain unconvinced by the surrealists.

Took the gallery shuttle bus to the Mound and wandered along to Jack Brown's where I chose frames for my prescription sunglasses.

Blipped this on my walk back to pick up the car at the gallery - Charlotte Square being re-planted after the annual grass destruction by the Book Festival.
