Early Autumn sunrise
This was the view from our bedroom window this morning (this is taken facing North West). Autumn is definitely on the way.
We went to a coffee morning in aid of the Macmillan Nurses this morning. The weather was beautiful so most people wandered out into the garden and I took loads of photos which I have now given to Chris (the lady who owns the house and who had organised the coffee morning. Chris opens her garden for the National Open Garden Scheme, and also for the Rippingale Open Gardens which normally take place in late spring.
Our False Acacia (aka Freesia Acacia, Freesia Robinia) was cut down today as it has now died. It is (was) one of those trees you often see in gardens with pale lime green or yellowish leaves. We are going to replace it with an apple tree.
