Scandale Beck

After a morning getting a few holiday items put together and a bit of cleaning I treated myself to an hour of afternoon sunshine.

High Sweden Bridge must be one of the most popular short walks from Ambleside and I often see couples and families sitting on the nearby rocks having a break before the return route or venturing up to Scandale Pass.

Today was different. It was crowded.... students.... 3 groups of them and kit strewn all around.  This is just downstream of the bridge with the branches of the Mountain Ash still bright with berries.
