Meet the team
It was a jangly kind of day. It started off with me having to grit my teeth. It wasn't helped by the fact that Ieft my keys in the door last night, doh. I know why but stupid nevertheless.
So to work and more jangly. It's the constant noise and questioning, now there are more of us. I feel like I'm being pulled in loads of directions, all at once.
But at the end of the afternoon new dad, N, brought in wee N, and his mum, and we used our new video conference facility to introduce him to the Policy team in London. It wasn't only the London lot that were baby mad, when I left Ni and S were cooing over him. He seems to be a good baby and was putting up very well with being passed around. I had a wee shot of wee N but it didn't make me think I should have a grandkid, yet.
So home for the weekend and suddenly it's only 10 sleeps till I go on holiday. Now how did that happen?
Edit. You can't tell N is holding a baby, it looks like a ball but it IS a baby, honest. 4 weeks on Monday.
And turns out this morning's janglyness was misplaced. #2 son was on a night out and came home about 6.30. He was under the duvet fully dressed and I'm trying to get him up for work. Nae chance. Turns out, I'd forgotten his organisation was on a day off today. Double doh!!
