Big Bad Bird

I may be the world's worst bird photographer. Given my hundreds and hundreds of attempts, you'd think the odd few would be good but it seems that I'm just better at spotting them than shooting them. Here's a picture of the Water of Leith with a really striking heron, poised motionless waiting to strike. So I can't even say that the thing moved just as I pressed the button! Grrrr! Even more annoyingly it decided it'd had enough and took off a moment or two later. So no chance of a second (blurry) shot.
