The Geese

One of my most vivid childhood memories is the pink footed geese that arrive in East Lothian sept/oct time. Last year there were approx 30,000 of them! Tonight I took Ellie to Aberlady Bay where they migrate for the winter from Iceland and Greenland. We were a wee bit early so there weren't many but a few took off for us. I love the noise they make. Will and take another blip when more of them are around.
