Donald Dewar-independence for Scotland?

What would Donald Dewar- first Minister for Scotland have thought of the proposed referendum for an independent Scotland?


This thought crossed my mind as I took this photo of the statute to him at the top of Buchanan St outside Glasgow’s Royal concert hall on a very dreich day in the city.

I suspect he would not have welcomed it.
