Another railway related blip!

I had often wondered why the car park at Tesco had five-foot thick walls! My research a couple of days ago revealed that these are the remains of the outer walls of Leith Central Station. The walls had to be this thick to support the weight of trains as the platforms were 15 feet above street level.
