Alien landscape

We've arrived in Iceland.
This is a shot through the plane window as we approached Iceland, such an alien landscape. Not the best photo ever, but I wasn't meant to have my camera still switched on, so had to do it quickly, hence the horizon is wonky!
We annoyingly had a huge bunch of blokes on the plane going on a stag weekend. They stood in the aisle and made lots of noise. Then they boarded the flybus from the airport to Reykjavik, by this time well oiled! They were even noisier and fowl language was plentiful! At the bus terminal you are divided into smaller buses that transfer you to your final destination and thought that at least we had now gone our separate ways - but no!! It was just them and us in the mini coach. They tried to talk to us, but we ignored them. At least a few of them apologised to us. Thankfully they are not staying were we are.
We haven't done much yet. We've settled into the apartment, and been out to a french bistro for dinner, now off to bed as we are 2 tired little bunnies! Tomorrow we start exploring!
