Fading...

We found these dahlias at Minto Island Farms outside Salem today. This won out over two other blip possibilities: the first fire of the year in the wood stove (feels like winter here - what happened to fall?); and a red sky in the morning. It most definitely signaled a warning because we have wind, rain, bluster...and it's not even October yet. Dahlias...good choice.
