Exhibition

Our Camera Club is having a modest exhibition of some of our members’ work in October.
It is being held in a small gallery/ picture framing business in central Blenheim. We had some fun deciding where to hang what on the wall space this morning. Bigger images are being displayed on easels and in the shop window.
We are very pleased that Donna and Richard, the business owners, have given us this opportunity to profile our club. It is particularly important for us to be able to do this at the moment as our club is hosting the annual convention of the Photographic Society of New Zealand here in Marlborough next April. This convention will include the National Exhibition of photographic works of photographers for all around New Zealand and from overseas. It is an enormous undertaking for our club and a dedicated organising committee has been beavering away on the project for months now. That committee deserves all the support we can give them.
Our current exhibition runs right through October and all images are for sale. We will be able to rotate extra submitted images in order to give more of our members the chance to show off their work. This is just the start……..
