WE DID IT!!!!!

The boys in the brown and gold have done it today. The Hawks are 2013 AFL Premiers for the 11th time in the clubs history.

We were invited around to our friends house today for a bbq and to watch the game with another passionate Hawks family. Great day, great game, I'm a very happy camper tonight.

Commiserations to the Fremantle Dockers, they put up a huge fight, especially in the third quarter to get back to within 3 points, but the Hawks experience and determination won out in the end.

Tomorrow is supporters day down at Glenferrie Oval, the spiritual home of the Hawthorn Football Club, so Dylan and I have decided to go down tomorrow to take part in the celebrations with the players. Don't think many of them will get much sleep tonight, so might be a bit blearry eyed.

Well done to our boys on a brilliant season, capped by winning the ultimate prize as well as 'Buddy' Franklin winning goal of the year.
