El Viejo Templo, Arucas

Finished the driving research a bit earlier today as co-researcher D has a miserable cold. WE did complete most of the major roads and settlements on the eastern side of Gran Canaria including the old town or Arucas and its wonderfully ornate El Viejo Templo where Catholic services are now held.

Build high on a promontory, it's visible for many miles around.

Still with limited wifi - so apologies for not commenting more - I hope to catch up when back in the UK if not before.
