Blip meet!

So early start thwarted by dodgy Devon roads and traffic - due in at 10.30 - arrived 12.30! Grrr! Somehow I managed to keep melody amused for an hour whilst she was sat in the car by singing, snacking and reading! Could have been hideous!
However, it didn't ruin our day - we just arrived fashionably late! Met the other ladies and babies and everyone seemed.. Exactly the same! I don't know why they wouldn't! How they spoke matched how they wrote! The babies were cute with each other and everyone's baby did their mums proud - after some pre game 'don't have a tantrum' nerves!
@bristol, where we met was great - but smaller than expected - I think as a friend had said she'd stayed all day - I think it's great for this age... But will get better and better as they get older
Melody enjoyed the planetarium show - bit freaked when the lights went out - but coped!
Then two mms went and us stragglers had a coffee and play in slide area before heading off

Then went off to mums - I hardly took any pics as sat nav on phone used all my bat - and then I had 18% to navigate to mums - what did we do without smart phones? I was petrified of being without it - so reliant these days!
Luckily (after writing down the addy) I found it on 3% - phew - greeted by 20+ dogs! Melody loved it - and enjoyed shouting at them to 'be quiet' found a gastropub and troughed again - melody (after lasagne) had a make ur own sundae - she loved putting sauce, sprinkles etc! Back to mums (after one one row - wow!) for a shower and pj's (and a pocket full of quality street - naughty grandma) before heading back - melody awake half hr before sleepinging the rest of the 2 hr journey - back 10.30 (A38 closed in Devon again) and caught up with mike
