The Apeldoorn Canal at the Hezenbergersluis (lock), near Hattem. The Apeldoorn canal runs from Hattem to Dieren. It was built from 1825, in the first instance to Apeldoorn, later to Dieren. From the 2nd World War, the navigation on the canal was still further back. Now in 2013 it is actually a neglected channel, with an uncertain future.
