the jack(daw)s decided to fly away as I got too near to them.

Visited my old hometown for a surprise birthday (87!) party to my mother, who was so glad about having her children and grandchildren around. All had responsibilities for at least one item of food or drink - mine was for the wines. Great fun, loved all of it - and so did my mother :-)
