Crocs Eye ...

Family meeting this weekend in Flushing. We visited among others Het Arsenaal (The Armory) in which numerous attractions are housed.

Many of these attractions are related to the piracy. Flushing was once in the distant past a pirate nest.

But there are also several aquariums with fish from the North Sea such as sharks, rays, cod, grouper, etc. And fish and reptiles from tropical waters.

On the picture you can see a Spectacled Caiman, a juvenile. Dead quiet, the eyes just above the waterline. It looks spectacular, especially when 'L' is pressed on the keyboard.
