C-Art Open Studios - more studios

Been to some lovely places today on such a glorious warm sunny day, can hardly believe it is the end of September.
After visiting studios at Brougham Hall and having scones and coffee in the grounds we went onto Blencarn on the way we passed this lovely meadow complete with bug hotel. I was surprised the flowers were still so fresh and colourful.
We then continued to Milburn the artist there had two Jack Russells plus six puppies that were sleeping out in the sunshine would have made a good photo but left the camera in the car.
We then returned to the village hall at Blencarn for tea and cakes, bought some lovely painted cards and learned that the meadow we had seen earlier had been created by the children in the village school.
On the way home we just happened to be going past the landing pad for air ambulance as it was coming into base so more photos taken.
So today I had quite a selection of pics to choose from but the little meadow came out my favourite.
