Tom.
I received a text message from my very dear friend John telling me that his father had "slipped anchor" this morning. It was a lovely morning - calm and sunny - as he said, "not a bad day for a final journey on the big ocean". "I like the idea of setting sail across an endless tranquil ocean", I replied. I was sitting on a rock on Whinny Hill (one of Arthur's Seat's neighbours) at the time and immediately after replying looked behind me to see this.
R.I.P. Tom.
