Greater Ekofisk

The Ekofisk complex is not only one oilfield. This Ekofisk field is just a cluster of the so-called Greater Ekofisk. But even the Greater Ekofisk is getting smaller as you can see. The Thialf, and also the Hermod on the British Ekofisk side, are making good progress in dismantling several platforms. The first series of modules are being recycled now. With a recycling rate of 98%, you won't find much waste of all these thousands tons of steel. Not only Safety has top priority, the Environment is absolutely on top of the list as well. Right now, we are on our way to the Hermod, to help the Husky with running out the anchors for the Hermod on her new (also Ekofisk) location.
