Day 10 - Sober for October
Yesterday was one of the best days. One to put in a frame on the top shelf where it can't be knocked off and will catch my eye when I need reminding.
I followed Paul Hollywood's advice to line my bannetons (get me!) with tea towels and that was not good advice. I shall go my own way next time. The loaves are good, but lacking the ridged effect of the baskets. And they are still flatter than I would like.
Today is officially my day off (apart from one client's ironing). I think the sewing machine will be coming out. There are skirts to be shortened. I might also play with some Mod Podge and Golden Syrup tins.
(Colin comes with Betty & me on our walks. Usually to bomb Betty from every tree we pass. We live behind a wood. Poor Betty.)
