The best laid plans

The Dizzle cooked dinner for his girlfriend tonight. Salmon en croute. Pictured here looking for recipes on my iPad. Pretty impressive for a sixteen year old. The evaluation later was that it tasted really nice but the pastry was too thick in places - so probably around 6 0r 7 out of 10. Potato salad was very good, I tried some.

I went to see aged P today. M25 was closed on the way up due to an accident so it took me an hour and three quarters to get there. Unbelievably, three hours later the  same thing happened going the other way and it took me over two hours to get home. You just can't plan for that.

Went to Wembley for a friend's birthday meal tonight. Very good evening. One of those bog standard currys - cheap and cheerful - then back to the birthday girl's flat to drink tea, play with the hamster and have along discussion about different types of poo. Yes it was all a bit monty python.

Got home about 1.30am which wasn't planned either. But sometimes you just have to go with the flow...
