Despite having lived in Edinburgh for the best part of four years, I'm ashamed to say I'd never been to Duddingston before, other than on a cold, wet day to visit the Sheep's Heid, and I'd only really looked at the loch from up on Arthur's Seat. It was a surprise, therefore, to discover this lovely view is only a short walk from the new flat!
