No mums were harmed...

… in the taking of this photo. Chrysanthemums that is*. Walking the dog by a canal marina I saw both the flowers and this metal plate thing at the same time. All well and good putting them together to take this. But then I was greedy for another shot of a more healthy-looking flower, which I tried to manoeuvre in front of the plate. Sadly I broke it's neck and out of guilt I stopped there. So I confess one was actually harmed.
(* of course the joke will fall flat if this is not a chrysanthemum)
