Tahkli

We had a visitor from the States this weekend. She brought with her some samples of cotton -- and this delightful wee Tahkli, used for supported spinning of cotton and other fine fibres. A quick lesson in cotton-spinning served only to confirm how very cack-handed I am with a spindle. I shall stick to my wheel, I think.
