Cuttlefish Love

Believe it or not, this cuttlefish bone has only be in about 15 minutes. Evie is already well on her way to destroying it!

Thank goodness we live near the sea, or it would cost us a small fortune keeping these birds in cuttlefish bone! Oddly, Mr Gruffalo kept budgies as a child, always had a cuttlefish bone in the cage, and it would last for MONTHS as they would barely touch it. We're lucky if ours lasts a week!

Oh, also, I'm playing with the bridge camera again, and using some tips from an American friend who keeps budgies (and always takes such lovely photos of theirs) as to getting better shots. Flash dropped, shutter speed as fast as possible... so far, the results are promising!
