Back from the Brink

We have a number of roses on the north side of the cottage which hadn't done too well in recent years as the light was blocked by some very tall conifers. The conifers had to be taken down earlier this year and the light on that side was significantly increased. Imagine my joy today when I saw this beauty. The roses are still a little bit on the spindly side but are very much stronger than they were and all have a number of buds.
