The Kelpie Howled At The Sun

The Kelpie is a shape-shifting horse that used to live in Scotland's watercourses. But as well as being famed for attacking passing travellers, the Kelpie would warn of imminent storms by howling at the sun.

These statues of Kelpies are currently under construction, and they mark The Helix, Falkirk's new public park. Perhaps our current run of beautiful weather will not last long... this one certainly seems to be crying out to Sol.
