VW Camper Meet up in Toulouse

Yes, I know, another combi shot ...

Well, it wasn't just combis there were E-Type Jags, Porche,Triumph TR3 / 4 / Maseratti, Ferrari ... but the combis were the best.

Met a mate and went down to the meet together - 2 combis in convoy.

The meet-up was in the centre of Toulouse, right near Le jardin des plantes - avery cool place to have a meet up, which is held on the last Sunday of every month.

We set up and chatted, while my mate made a cafétière of coffee in his combi - we were 7 combis in all, including one who had just returned from a year-long around the world trip in his combi with his girlfriend ... how cool is that *strokes chin and stares into the distance*

A chin was wagged vigourously for several hours, then I left to go to honourable son N°2's Rugby tournament - first match of the season and they have a tournament.
They played really well, especially as they have a lot of new players, although the team needs play-time to gel.

They came 5th out of 21 teams though and they played well.
Their team is coached by ex Stade Toulousain and French international Cédric Débrosses, who is doing a fine job motivating these lads.
They are so motivated that Hon. Son N°2 and his mates spent 4 hours yesterday training - working on their rucking, line-outs and penalty kicks for today.
