Gaelic Immersion day..
..held at the Edderachiles Hotel. And a very good day it was too. Starting at 10 with coffee, the morning was spent on verbs, future and past tenses. Something that had eluded me, but has been explained in detail, and I hope progress has been made..
A wonderful lunch, Haddock on boiled potatoes and bed of spinach, with a cheese sauce. Their wonderful Pavlova for pudding, with fresh fruit and lashings of cream..
After lunch, a walk around the gardens, looking at plants and features of the countryside, the history and folklore of plants and herbs. (Found on Amazon when I got home, and purchased a book on Gaelic plant names, with Latin and English cross references). Then back into class and a quick resume on verbs, and then home..
It's been a beautiful day, a shame to be inside, but this is the view from the lawn outside the conservatory..
