Something hanging in V&A

Not sure what this is but it hangs from the ceiling inside the entrance to the V&A; it is stunning. I was going to see the pearl jewellery display but you weren't allowed to take photos.
Working in London for the next 3 days, not very well planned as staying in 3 different hotels! Travelled down a bit earlier in the day so I could have a wonder around - there's only 3 direct trains down on a Sunday.
