Bearing it all

The Bear was won in a raffle competition.
Not being much of a stuffed animal sort of family, The Bear has subsequently resided in the spare room awaiting car boot/charity shop/small child invasion.
Curiously, The Bear seems to have sprawled himself across the doorway. Attention seeking? Bid for escape? Suicide attempt?
Something mysterious is going on in the land of spare-oom.
