Buzz

We were up bright and early this morning and had to drive back home to make the final visit to the flat before it is sold next week.

It was strangfe being back as hadn't seen it for 5 weeks. It looked very empty and lifeless. It was sad to be back as it was my first home and I saved for a long time to buy it. I lived there 5 years and everytime I think about it it will always be a place filled of happy memories, rather than the empty shell it was today. I must be honest and say I did shed a tear as I closed the door for the final time. But as the saying goes, as one door closes....

After we finished at the flat we popped in to my parents for lunch and a catch up as I had not seen them for a few weeks. We also walked around to my sisters to see her and the munchkin. After sticking quite a few pom poms on paper and colouring it was time to say goodbye, but not before the munchkin told me off. I had just said 'ta' as she had passed me something and she said 'We do not say ta Auntie, we say thank you!'. Crazy to think it is only her 2nd birthday next week.

I had planned to blip a photo of the flat as it was quite a significant day, but I spotted some lovely bright flowers in my parents garden and decided to blip these instead.
