Patchwork landscape

Tinto Hill in Lanarkshire is in the background. A beautiful day, but not a beautiful walk - far too much heather on a very steep descent, and then a traverse which had me on my hands and knees or my behind. Still, we all got back safe and sound - although I added a leader to my blacklist!
