Kelvingrove Museum

Went to Kelvingrove today with Mrs B, #1 and #2.

Took along the new camera too to put it through it's paces... The new camera being a Nikon D5100 with standard 18-55 and a 50mm 1.8. I have been researching cameras for the past 3 months, and it finally boiled down to this one, on a balance of budget, functionality, low light performance and image quality.

What finally tipped the balance was image quality in extreme conditions (which is where I like to go with my photos). Rivals had better ergonomics, better menus, etc, but when it comes to the crunch, the end product, the image, is what it's all about.
